Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic hardware, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing technical leadership to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic hardware, including component specification and approval
  • Collaborate with customers, both in-house and at customer locations
  • Develop and document design plans and engineering specifications for the electrical portion of a product design
  • Develop product and system level test plans for the verification/validation process as well as manufacturing tests procedures and equipment
  • Identify factors and definitions needed to fulfill project duties and effectively communicate those needs to the appropriate person and project manager
  • Support new concept work and project cost estimates for new business opportunities
  • Evaluate and suggest feasibility on proposed projects
  • Demonstrate schedule/task ownership for items under their responsibility
  • Makes good use of time and is able to set priorities to meet organizational and departmental goals
  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced engineers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work-related experience
  • Advanced working knowledge of principles, concepts, theories, and/or practices of Electrical Engineering
  • Advanced problem-solving, project management, data analysis, and critical thinking skills
  • Sound ability to manage time, make quality decisions, manage and measure work
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • A self-starter and able to multitask successfully
  • Advanced leadership skills
  • Strong communications skills with both internal and with offshore engineers and directly with customers
  • Effective in a team environment
  • Current on design methodology and technical development
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
