Our 3 South/4 South Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Unit serves a diverse patient population, providing care for individuals ranging from adolescents to seniors with a variety of medical conditions. This unit also includes observation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in a core curriculum tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Deliver direct nursing care under the guidance of a coach, adhering to established protocols.
  • Prioritize patient care activities based on acuity, preferences, and resource availability.
  • Implement interventions to ensure continuity of safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification if working in an Emergency Department.

As a caregiver, you will be expected to demonstrate critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.


Physical Requirements:

This role requires a full range of motion, including lifting and handling patients, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. You must be able to work under stress and adapt to irregular hours.

Personal protective equipment is provided as necessary to ensure safety during procedures.
