We are seeking a highly skilled Centralized Sterile Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Centralized Sterile Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by maintaining a clean and sterile environment for medical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Process and sterilize medical instruments and equipment to ensure they are safe for patient use
- Maintain accurate records of instrument and equipment inventory, including tracking and reporting any discrepancies or issues
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or completion of healthcare organization training program
- Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred
