We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Ernest Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
- One (1) year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical/surgical environment.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
