We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN CV Neuro ICU to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a Registered Nurse RN CV Neuro ICU, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse RN CV Neuro ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our critically ill patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care of each patient assigned
  • Takes nursing history assessment to identify nursing diagnosis/patient care needs
  • Evaluate the patient/family response to, and outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care accordingly
  • Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual CV Neuro ICU patients
  • Promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who influence patient progress
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required
  • 1 year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting preferred
