Giblet Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Giblet Supervisor to join our team at Mountaire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of department operations, aligning procedures, people, and resources to achieve established goals in regards to quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure orders are fulfilled and operating with correct staffing numbers on a daily basis, adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Production Practices (GPPs).
- Monitor and address product quality and packaging specifications, implementing plans to rectify defects and drive improvements, while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Meet department metrics, including BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A Grade %, by implementing effective strategies and processes.
- Adhere to prescribed Human Resources (HR) and Safety policies and procedures, completing time-off requests and safety training in a timely manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Operations Management, or Business preferred.
- 3+ years' demonstrated supervisory experience in lieu of degree, with previous poultry experience preferred.
- HACCP knowledge and experience.
- USDA regulations on sanitation and pre-operations guidelines.
