Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Giblet Supervisor to join our team at Mountaire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of department operations, aligning procedures, people, and resources to achieve established goals in regards to quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure orders are fulfilled and operating with correct staffing numbers on a daily basis, adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Production Practices (GPPs).
- Monitor and maintain product quality and packaging specifications, implementing plans to address defects and necessary improvements, while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and correcting deviations.
- Meet department metrics, including BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A Grade %.
- Adhere to prescribed Human Resources (HR) and Safety policies and procedures, completing time-off requests and safety training on a timely basis.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Agricultural, Operations Management, or Business preferred.
- 3+ years' demonstrated supervisory experience in lieu of degree, previous poultry experience preferred.
- HACCP knowledge and experience.
- USDA regulations on sanitation and pre-operations guidelines.
