We are seeking a skilled CNC Cylindrical Grinder Machinist to join our team at Aerotek. This is a first-shift position that offers the chance to work in a clean, organized, and well-lit machine shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual and CNC ID/OD cylindrical grinders with precision.
  • Familiarity with Kel-Varia and Toyoda machines is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Utilize G-code knowledge effectively (beneficial).
  • Inspect parts using gauges to ensure they meet customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, adhering to customer and engineering requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Soft Skills:

  • Eagerness to learn and take detailed notes during training with experienced machinists.

Job Type:

  • This is a contract-to-hire position lasting approximately 4 months.

Location:

  • Fully on-site role based in Buffalo, New York.
