The Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville's School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled trauma surgeon to join our Division of General Surgery as an Assistant Professor.
To be considered, candidates must have completed general surgery training at a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and hold certification/eligibility from the American Board of Surgery.
A successful candidate should possess experience in teaching residents and students in general and trauma surgery. We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in advancing trauma surgery and general surgery education.
Qualifications and ResponsibilitiesCandidates must have successfully completed a fellowship program in trauma surgery/critical care. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing a practice with a specialty emphasis and contribute to research initiatives. Specialty fellowship training is required for this academic position. The chosen individual will have exceptional skills in teaching and academic productivity in clinical areas.

Compensation and BenefitsWe offer an attractive salary range between $450,000 to $650,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
