Position Overview:

With a team of over 460 professionals, we manage substantial operating funds to maintain and enhance the UCSF campus. Our department comprises seven key operational units, including Custodial Services, which is integral to our mission.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee custodial operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Implement and maintain effective cleaning protocols, particularly in specialized environments such as laboratories and medical facilities.
- Foster a workplace culture that values equity, safety, and support for all staff members.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Salary Information:
The hourly rate for this position is $33.08, with placement within the salary range determined by experience and internal equity.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of two years in custodial operations or equivalent experience.
- Successful completion of background checks and physical examinations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient customer service abilities.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and operate cleaning equipment.
Preferred:
- Experience with various computer applications and a willingness to enhance technical skills.
- Background in university or medical center environments.
