Position Summary

The Security Supervisor role at Cone Health Employee Health & Wellness is pivotal in managing security functions and personnel at designated facilities. This position entails overseeing the daily operations of Security Officers, ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees, patients, visitors, and assets. The Security Supervisor will report directly to the Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively to develop and sustain operational schedules for the department
  • Organize daily tasks and lead briefings for security personnel
  • Evaluate staffing and equipment requirements for each shift
  • Direct, assign, and assess the performance of shift personnel
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and mentorship to staff regarding their job performance
  • Oversee and manage the department's email communications
  • Engage in the recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members
Required Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in security or a related area
  • Licensure/Certification: Various certifications are necessary
