About the Role:

The Optical Sales Manager is a key position at U.S. Vision, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in the optical department. As a leader, you will supervise and develop a team of optical staff, ensuring they provide top-notch service and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth and control expenses in the optical department
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a professional and positive attitude towards customers, colleagues, and business partners
  • Supervise and develop optical staff to achieve personal and store goals
  • Execute effective operational and procedural processes to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations for prescriptive eyewear

Requirements:

  • Experienced optician preferred
  • Strong sales ability, with a focus on connecting with customers, uncovering their needs, and recommending products that meet those needs
  • Polished and professional communication and customer-centric service skills
  • Experience with POS, computer, and timekeeping systems, as well as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with diverse people, including customers and colleagues
  • Self-motivation, action-oriented, and a creative problem solver, open to feedback and learning
  • Reliability and punctuality in attendance, with flexibility for scheduling and ability to work weekends, select holidays, and special sales events
  • Ability to meet the physical needs of the job and multitask in a fast-paced work environment
