Position Overview:

The Clinical Liaison plays a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing partnerships with healthcare institutions, medical practices, and community referral networks to facilitate patient transitions and enhance the market presence of Public Health Management Corporation's hospice, home health, and palliative care services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Employs strategic sales methodologies and promotional tools to effectively represent Public Health Management Corporation within the designated region. Establishes and sustains communication channels with referral sources.
  • Cultivates and maintains productive relationships within assigned healthcare facilities to oversee the patient transfer process to the organization’s services.

Additional Duties:

  • Generates patient referrals for hospice, home health, and palliative care by developing strong connections with referral sources across various segments.
  • Engages in the creation of a marketing strategy aimed at achieving the targeted number of referrals and admissions within the assigned area.
  • Actively participates in departmental sales meetings and contributes to initiatives focused on sales and operational growth.
  • Conducts market research; formulates sales strategies, objectives, and plans.
  • Maintains a monthly report detailing referral activities and outcomes.
  • Collaborates effectively with team members and program specialists to foster business growth within the territory.
  • Educates patients, families, and healthcare personnel on the advantages and applications of the organization’s services.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to new Clinical Liaisons.
  • Offers liaison support at healthcare facilities as required.
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in sales or marketing.
  • Familiarity with community resources, care programs, and educational initiatives.
  • Understanding of the home health, hospice, and palliative care sectors to effectively advocate for the organization’s services.
  • Demonstrates motivation and determination to meet sales and marketing objectives.
  • Exceptional follow-up abilities with existing and potential referral sources.
  • Capable of adjusting communication style based on diverse personalities and situations.
  • Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Adaptable to a variety of environments.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing is preferred. A nursing degree is advantageous.

Graduates of an accredited Registered Nurse diploma program or an Associate Degree in Nursing may be required for specific assignments.
