We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation in our physician practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with providers to deliver world-class care to patients
  • Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
  • Take vital signs and enter them accurately into the EMR
  • Record patient history, chief complaint, pharmacy information, and prescription lists into the EMR
  • Obtain required consents and complete required forms as needed
  • Perform in-office testing and EKGs as needed
  • Assist providers with in-office medical procedures
  • Properly label specimens and adhere to SMG policies
  • Chaperone providers as required
  • Administer vaccines and medications as ordered by providers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Education from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent
  • One to three years of experience as a medical assistant preferred
