Reporting Structure: You will report to the Pharmacy Supervisor for Ambulatory Pharmacy and engage in various pharmacist responsibilities related to ambulatory pharmacy. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Pharmacy Supervisor in maintaining adherence to regulations, policies, and standards.
- Supervising support personnel.
- Conducting medication dispensing tasks and optimizing clinical pharmacy programs to enhance patient care.
- Fostering and exemplifying a collaborative, professional relationship with pharmacy personnel, healthcare providers, support staff, and administrative teams.
- Exhibiting effective and innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Adjusting to the demands of a dynamic healthcare landscape.
- Promoting a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery with integrity, creativity, and dedication.
Work Schedule: Varied shifts and hours based on departmental requirements, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation: Hourly position with a salary range determined by union representation and experience.
Bargaining Unit: HX - UPTE
Qualifications:
We are looking for a strong, independent clinical leader with a valid California Pharmacy license, a PharmD degree, and:
- Excellent communication, organizational, prioritization, and follow-through capabilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical, ambulatory, specialty, transitions of care, and dispensing workflows.
- CSP or equivalent board certification is preferred.
- Advanced Practice Pharmacist (APh) licensure is advantageous.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider.
- Certification in Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery with Applied Practice.
