About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Network Analyst to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Telecommunications Network Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our warfighters, protecting national security, and informing our nation's leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, engineer, and administer wireless or wireline wide-area telecommunications circuit-switched, packet-switched, or optical transport networks.
  • Utilize encryption techniques, routing, and network infrastructure to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
  • Collaborate with mission owners to tackle complex and challenging problems in computer network analysis, network exploitation, digital network intelligence, dataflow, access development, and target network analysis.
  • Leverage an understanding of ports, protocols, networking devices, and common exploitation frameworks to identify network vulnerabilities and assess network topology.
  • Develop and implement processes and tools for signals intelligence discovery analysis.
  • Conduct penetration testing and interact with IC partners to stay up-to-date on the latest threats and technologies.
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences and convey the value of your work to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications network design, engineering, or administration.
  • Experience with encryption techniques, routing, and network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of the OSI layer stack and layers 1 and 2.
  • Knowledge of network management practices for multiplexers, switches, routers, wireless, and wireline networking systems.
  • Ability to leverage processes and tools for signals intelligence discovery analysis.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, such as Telecommunication Technologies or Networking.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with dataflow and signals intelligence architecture.
  • Experience with programming languages for scripting and automation, including Python or C++.
  • Experience with penetration testing tools.
  • Experience interacting with IC partners.
  • Experience in an IC Internship.
  • Knowledge of ports, protocols, and common network configurations.
  • Knowledge of IT logging best practices.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Technical Network Certification.
