Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology department at Ascension Seton. As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing direct nursing care to patients with cancer and hematological disorders.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. You will be based at the Ascension Seton Specialty Care Center located at 1601 Trinity St., Suite 804, Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cancer and hematological disorders
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certification specializing in Chemotherapy preferred.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
