GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The Staff RN in Critical Care is accountable for addressing the immediate needs of patients by conducting assessments, engaging in collaborative care planning, and delivering or delegating nursing care while monitoring patient outcomes. This role is essential in fostering a productive work environment through effective communication, documentation, and mentorship of peers.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must possess a current Registered Nurse license from the State of Nebraska or an approved compact state, in accordance with the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act. Certification and/or training relevant to the practice area must be provided as mandated by state or federal regulations.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is mandatory. Bryan Health acknowledges certifications from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and the Military Training Network for healthcare professionals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
(Physical requirements are established based on federal criteria and reviewed by Human Resources in relation to the Principal Job Functions.)
(DOT) - This role is characterized as medium work, requiring the ability to exert 35 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 35 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
