The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg-Critical Care unit at Bryan Health. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, the RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress towards established outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiates assessment and reassessment of patients based on their presenting problems and needs.
  • Develops and implements individualized care plans that address patient priorities and desired outcomes.
  • Provides education to patients and families to meet identified needs and promote health literacy.
  • Evaluates patient progress towards established outcomes and makes adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transitions.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
