Regional Sales Professional

With a strong global presence, operating in over 70 countries through 19 offices and 6 factories, the company is well-positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for infrastructure.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for driving business growth, customer retention, and sales performance in the Texas and Louisiana region. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new business through prospecting, presentations, and business development
- Service existing accounts and maintaining strong relationships
- Monitoring competition and gathering market intelligence on pricing, products, and new developments
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and training
- Representing products to customers at trade shows and conferences
- Understanding product and market specifications and utilizing them in the government bidding system
- Monitoring government bids and gathering pricing information, with regular reporting to management
- Providing product demonstrations and training as directed by management
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A proven track record of leveraging sales skills to land new business
- High motivation and a history of exceeding sales goals
- Strong written and verbal closing skills
- Able to travel extensively, with overnight stays required for customer meetings and demonstrations
- Comfortable working in the public sector and understanding specifications and the bidding system
- Proficiency in math and basic layout concepts
- Able to grasp technical concepts and explain them to others
- Able to work with minimal supervision within a team environment
