Job Summary:

Sabert is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Forming / Extrusion Operator. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our extrusion and thermoforming lines, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain extrusion and thermoforming lines, making adjustments as needed to produce high-quality products.
  • Monitor and control line set points, temperatures, and pressures to optimize production rates.
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of packers assigned to the line to ensure efficient production and quality control.
  • Perform changeovers and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and quality regulations, including GMP rules.
  • Complete production paperwork and oversee quality control processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Previous operator experience or mechanical background preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for extended periods (95% of the day).
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
  • 2-2-3 work schedule.
