Accounting Specialist

Folino Estate is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of multiple companies within our organization. This is a unique opportunity to work on multiple projects in an organized and timely fashion.

• Submit payroll to the company's payroll processor once completed and approved by HR
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Responsible for accounts payable
• Filing bills, payments, invoices, purchase orders, etc.
• Makes regular sales tax payments to the state
• Assist in reporting wine sales to PLCB & TTB
• Entering sales from POS system into QuickBooks
• Maintains open line of communication with accountant and assures reporting is up to date

• Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience
• Good knowledge of standard accounting practices
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of computers, 2 years' experience in QuickBooks, MS Office and point of sale systems are required. Must possess the ability to learn new software programs as needed; openness to learning new software, including hospitality point of sale systems

This position requires the manual dexterity sufficient to operate phones, computers, and other office equipment. The position requires the physical ability to kneel, bend and perform light lifting. This person must have the ability to write and speak clearly using the English language to convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels both in person and over the telephone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
