Job Description

Are you passionate about teaching children how to swim? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? Goldfish Swim School - Aliso Viejo is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents
  • Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork
  • Interact with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and development
  • Act as a GSS ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction
  • Use problem-solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter
  • Perform lifeguard duties as needed
  • Perform light cleaning duties as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider
  • Two or more years of experience as a swimming instructor
  • Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification
