Assembler II/III/IV-Specialty Electronics Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our Production team at Safran Cabin. As an Assembler II/III/IV-Specialty, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of electronic components for aircraft parts.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and repetitive electronic assembly operations and processes for aircraft parts in a manual manufacturing assembly line environment.
- Assemble and solder electronic printed circuit boards, small mechanical assemblies, and sub-assemblies.
- Use basic electronic assembly tools, instruments, and equipment daily in the production of printed circuit boards and assemblies.
- Prepare wires for assembly, measuring, cutting, stripping, tinning, and attaching contacts, lugs, and other terminal type devices using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and soldering equipment.
- Apply and handle conformal coatings, sealants, and adhesives.
- Perform less complex acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment.
- Work in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities.
- Keep assigned work area organized and clean and perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in soldering small wires, parts, and components.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Proficiency with all basic hand tools, ohm meters, and basic power tools.
- Proficiency with soldering and de-soldering equipment.
- Experience and training to IPC-J-STD-001 (Requirement for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).
- Experience and training to IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies).
- Experience and training to IPC-A-620 (Requirements & Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies).
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics.
- Ability to deal with standard tolerancing (allowances, limits, and fits) and perform advanced math calculations.
- Complete knowledge of related aircraft hardware as it relates to rivets, screws, and bolts (NAS, MS, An, etc.).
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a production environment or equivalent business environment.
