Radiologic Technologist

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a CT Technologist in Long Beach, CA. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures
- Administer contrast media as needed
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
- Required Certifications: BLS
- Required Skills: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Outpatient, Level II Trauma, Toshiba, Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Enterography study, Intravenous pyelogram, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head, 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture, Brain perfusion, Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic, Vascular CTA, ICU
- Pay: $3159.89/week - $3341.49/week
- Assignment Length: 13-week assignment
- Shift: 5, 8-Hour 23:00 - 07:30
- At least one year of experience required
