In the role of Laundry Service Specialist, you will be instrumental in realizing our mission by collaborating with the housekeeping department and ensuring the upkeep of our linens and towels.

We seek individuals who are passionate about delivering remarkable guest experiences, fostering a lively company culture, and establishing strong ties within our communities.


Responsibilities:
1. Sort, wash, and dry linens with care.

2. Take pride in your responsibilities by overseeing and upholding the safety and cleanliness of the facilities.

3. Maintain organization within laundry facilities, equipment, and storage areas.

4. Identify and remove any damaged or stained linens for disposal.

5. Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the proper maintenance and usage of equipment.

6. Adhere to established procedures for handling, cleaning, and disposing of hazardous materials in compliance with safety standards.

7. Promptly report any damages or maintenance issues.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a related field is advantageous, though not mandatory.

2. Understanding of appropriate cleaning methods, chemical handling, and the operational requirements of housekeeping equipment.

3. Attention to detail and the capability to stand for extended periods.

4. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:


The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this position.

While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing for 90% or more of a standard 8-hour work shift. Must be able to frequently carry, lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.

Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this role, the employee will be exposed to both indoor and outdoor working environments.

The noise level in the work environment can range from moderate to loud, and the use of chemical cleaning agents, household cleaning products, and equipment is frequent.
