Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Transporter to facilitate the safe and timely movement of patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items within our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients, medical equipment, and patient-related items to their destinations in a safe and timely manner.
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during transport, providing blankets and checking modesty as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient transport.
  • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO requirements.
  • Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in the facilities HIPPA policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • CPR certification is required upon completion of training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
