- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during transport, providing blankets and checking modesty as needed.
- Communicate effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient transport.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the relevant authorities.
- Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO requirements.
- Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient's rights policy as outlined in the facilities HIPPA policies and procedures.
- CPR certification is required upon completion of training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
