Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and manage a team of laboratory professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of laboratory professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity, utilizing Six Sigma and Lean concepts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CAP, CMS, AABB, FDA, and CLIA, as well as OSHA standards.
  • Participate in task forces to plan and implement activities to maximize service quality, compliance effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Serve as a resource and communication liaison, facilitating timely and accurate dissemination of information within the organization and to parent partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
  • Four years' training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, MLS or Specialty Certification, and one year of supervisory experience.
