Job Summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team in providing high-quality neurodiagnostic services. As an EEG Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex electroencephalograms (EEGs) and evoked potentials (EPs) to help diagnose and manage neurological disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG and EP procedures according to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Stock and prepare patient rooms and equipment for procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic program or associate's degree in a science-related field preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
