Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work under moderate supervision to prepare and file federal, state, and local income tax returns with a focus on flow-through taxation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns with a focus on flow-through taxation (S Corporations, Partnerships)
  • Prepare responses to notices and audit information requests from various federal, state, and local authorities
  • Assist the accounting department with tax account reconciliations
  • Assist with other accounting projects
  • Research and analyze technical tax issues
  • Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
  • Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field required
  • Master's degree in accounting or taxation preferred
  • Minimum one year's experience in public accounting or corporate/public accounting preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or pursuit of CPA preferred
