We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Model Maker. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components and finished goods to product specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and assemble components and finished goods to product specifications.
- Complete, modify, and test models, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.
- Document and maintain manufacturing procedures for specified devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot defects and errors.
- Calibrate, test, and maintain production and test-associated equipment where applicable and designated.
- An excellent eye for detail.
- Machine shop skills.
- Experience with hand tools (e.g., Dremel tools).
- Experience with different types of plastics, acrylics, etc.
- Experience with silicon rubber molds and a variety of casting materials.
- Good level of mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints and other product specs.
- Good organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable - arrive on time and ready for the day.
- Ability to frequently lift/move items up to 25 pounds, sometimes over 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- This position requires an organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
- All employees work day shift (we want everyone to have work-life balance).
- Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Optional overtime is available from time to time.
- Climate-controlled facility.
- Seven paid holidays.
- 40 hours PTO (Paid Time Off), plus 40 hours sick time accrued your first year. PTO grows the longer you stay with us, reaching up to 3 weeks per year
