Patient Flow Manager

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a Patient Flow Manager to lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have management experience in a hospital environment and/or patient transportation, with analytical skills to interpret statistical data and identify trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply knowledge of basic patient transport concepts, infection control practices, and proper body mechanics.
- Develop and implement dispatcher logic and transporter activities, monitoring and supervising dispatcher activity.
- Coordinate Patient Transportation activities and services with other departments, developing service agreements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, including Federal, State, JCAHO, OSHA, and CDC.
- Orient, train, and develop personnel, including dispatchers, trainers, transporters, couriers, drivers, and elevator operators.
- Assist in achieving financial objectives, ensuring the department operates within budget and controlling departmental expenses.
Requirements:
- Management experience in a hospital environment and/or patient transportation.
- Analytical ability to interpret statistical data and identify trends.
- Basic computer skills with Windows-based Operating System, with ability to troubleshoot system problems and initiate internal or external resolution.
- Associate's degree preferred.
