Metal Assembly Job Description

CFS Brands is seeking a skilled Metal Assembly professional to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for defining and executing production plans in a safe and quality manner to deliver products on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assemble units by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Work Environment:

The position works in a production environment with moderate noise levels. Overtime is frequently required, especially during busy times.
