Job Title: Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Civil Science is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead and manage a diverse range of water and wastewater related projects. This role requires a strong technical background in water and wastewater engineering, as well as excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater projects, including treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, distribution systems, and water quality improvement.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers and technicians, to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and technical documents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote services and capabilities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategies to increase market share and secure new projects.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, with a focus on project management.
  • Proven experience in managing complex water/wastewater projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge in hydraulics with experience in water rights, source capacity, storage, collection, treatment, distribution, and transmission.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD and GIS.
