SalaryThe estimated salary for this Production Operator position in our Global Grains and Processing Division ranges from $55,000 to $75,000 per annum, depending on experience, education, and location. Additionally, CHS offers a competitive total rewards package, including bonus, incentives, commissions, medical, dental, vision, wellness programs, life insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, paid time off, 401(k), pension, profit sharing, short- and long-term disability, tuition reimbursement, and adoption assistance, subject to eligibility requirements.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our team in our Sunflower processing facility. This is a 3rd shift opportunity that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment, ensuring product quality, meeting safety requirements, and maintaining production targets in the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following established protocols and procedures.
- Conduct continuous inspections, monitor equipment performance, and make necessary adjustments to ensure specifications and production targets are met.
- Implement QA policies and procedures, complete required sampling and testing, and interpret results to take corrective action when necessary.
- Comply with all regulations and requirements, including record keeping and maintenance of equipment and tools.
- 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Production Operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights up to 120 feet.
