Job Summary: The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a vital role in our cardiovascular program, ensuring the smooth operation of procedures and maintaining high-quality patient care. As a member of our team, you will work closely with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities: Prepares and operates equipment during cardiovascular procedures, adhering to strict sterile protocols.
Evaluates patient conditions and prepares them for procedures, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
Maintains a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficient workflow and minimizing risks.
Serves as a preceptor for new staff members and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Participates in downtime activities, such as stocking rooms and checking equipment, to maintain a high level of readiness.
Qualifications: Completion of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) eligibility and/or current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
Previous procedural area experience is preferred but not required.
Benefits: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
