Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team at Mercy Medical Group in Sacramento, CA. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients, collaborating with specialists, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities
- Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, provide clear and concise medical information, and foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, perform procedures as needed, and collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, and provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement, and implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, and participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participate in ongoing medical education and training, and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license.
- Board eligible or board certified in internal medicine (ABMS or AOA).
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $275,000 - $290,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package, including generous compensation, bonuses, stipends, and shareholder track opportunities.
