Job Title: Blade Repair Services Technician Associate

RWE Clean Energy, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Blade Repair Services Technician Associate to join our team. As a key member of our internal blade repairs service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind turbines.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform composite repair and maintenance tasks on wind turbine blades, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assure that all operation and maintenance activities are performed safely and consistently with policies and procedures.
  • Climb wind towers and access wind turbines to perform repair tasks.
  • Lift, carry, and transport essential equipment, tools, and materials to the job site.
  • Assist in transportation, setup, and operation of the up-tower blade access mechanism.
  • Support a team performing platform and ground access composite repairs on multiple turbine manufacturers.
  • Assist in major component replacement, focusing on blades.
  • Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and handling of all Blade Repair Service equipment.
  • Perform safety and other wind farm-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • An associate degree in science or a related field from an accredited school is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in operations and maintenance of power generation, blade repair, transmission, and distribution.
  • Experience in project development or adjacent areas within the power sector is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
  • All applicants must pass physical fitness tests to maintain Global Wind Organization Certification.
  • Unrestricted driver's license in good standing.
  • Willing to relocate to within 1-hour drive of the site.
  • Willing and able to obtain and maintain an RWE-sponsored Commercial Driver License (CDL), if so requested by RWE.
  • Willing to travel up to 100% of the time.
Work Environment:

Travel up to 100%, multiple worksites, hot/cold weather conditions, irregular hours on short notice.
