Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing their psychosocial, physical, and general needs in the surgical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Communicate with physicians continuously and as needed about patient condition
  • Assist with the maintenance of equipment and inventory
  • Assess procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness
  • Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met
  • Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab
  • Monitor and record patients' condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred
  • Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required
  • Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required
  • One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required
