Psychological Assessment and Treatment Specialist

Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Psychological Assessment and Treatment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality behavioral health services in an oncology setting. As a specialist, you will conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct psychotherapy services to patients.
The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA-approved training program, be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong background in psychological assessment, treatment planning, and crisis management is essential. Additionally, experience working with bilingual clients and knowledge of various treatment modalities are highly desirable.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
