Key Responsibilities:- Apply casts and perform dressing changes with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist physicians with patient care tasks, including preparing injections and obtaining cultures as needed.
- Dispense Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to patients and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Verify patient information, record medical history, and report to physicians as required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Unrestricted current LPN license to practice nursing in NYS.
- 1-3 years of recent experience in orthopedic nursing preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday-Friday, 11:30am-8pm, with 40 hours per week. Reliable transportation is required for travel between offices as needed.
