Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to join our team on a locum tenens basis. As a Pediatric Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities:- Oversee the care of hospitalized patients, from admission to discharge planning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Coordinate with specialists to manage complex cases and provide comprehensive care.
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Conduct daily rounds to assess patient progress and update treatment plans.
- Perform procedures such as intubations and central lines, as needed.
- Communicate with patients and families to explain diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate medical intervention.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency training program in internal medicine or family medicine accredited by the ACGME or AOA.
- Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine by the ABIM or AOBIM.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
- Current ACLS certification.
- At least one year of experience providing care in a clinical setting.
