Key Responsibilities- Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
- Provide assistance to the public, including responding to emergency calls and providing support to victims of crime
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest law enforcement techniques and technologies
- Must be a DCJS Certified Sworn Police Officer with at least two years of experience
- Must be able to function in stressful situations and exercise good judgment under potentially volatile conditions
- Must be able to read and understand laws, policies, rules, and regulations, and follow written and oral directions
- Must score 80 or higher on Division firearm qualifications and meet the physical assessment standard
