About the Role

This position requires a highly motivated and dedicated individual who is committed to upholding the highest standards of law enforcement. As a Certified Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining order, and providing assistance to the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Provide assistance to the public, including responding to emergency calls and providing support to victims of crime
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest law enforcement techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Must be a DCJS Certified Sworn Police Officer with at least two years of experience
  • Must be able to function in stressful situations and exercise good judgment under potentially volatile conditions
  • Must be able to read and understand laws, policies, rules, and regulations, and follow written and oral directions
  • Must score 80 or higher on Division firearm qualifications and meet the physical assessment standard
