The Memorial MRI & Diagnostic team is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies under the direction of the Medical Director and in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Coordinate patient flow, operate all systems for routine, specialty, and research studies, and support protocol development.
- Perform all duties related to scanning and image processing, ensuring accurate documentation and expedited patient throughput and diagnosis.
- Assist in duties necessary to expedite service and diagnosis, including troubleshooting MRI equipment and maintaining accurate records of equipment failure.
- Review patient medical information prior to imaging, assist in patient teachings, and monitor each patient to ensure quality patient care.
- Communicate information concerning patient exams to Radiologists and attending physicians, consistently applying MR safety procedures in accordance with prescribed standards.
- High School or GED
- Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology
- 1 year of MRI experience preferred
- Certified and licensed by TDH; MRI registry preferred; current CPR required
Work Schedule: Saturdays 8am-4pm
