Key Responsibilities- Medication Preparation and Management: Prepare medication and supplies with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with nursing and central pharmacy staff to ensure seamless medication management and accurate patient care.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of integrity and attention to detail, ensuring that medication preparation and management meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Professional Development: Stay current with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve medication preparation and management processes.
- Education and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed in good standing with the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a medication preparation or management role.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and high level of integrity and attention to detail.
