Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will be responsible for preparing NFPA compliant fire sprinkler shop drawings utilizing AutoSprink. This role requires a strong understanding of fire sprinkler system components, hazard analysis, fluid hydraulics, and code compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare fire protection design drawings and hydraulic calculations for commercial and residential buildings in compliance with applicable codes.
- Assist in surveying existing fire protection systems, drawing preparation, material listing, and field survey as required.
- Develop and maintain project drawing files, drawing library, and associated records.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- 1 to 3 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude with strong desire to excel.
- Proven AutoSprink 2023 or higher proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Computer fluency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
