We are seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Family Partner/Peer Support Specialist. As a Family Partner, you will work closely with families and caregivers of children and young adults with mental health needs, providing support and guidance to help them navigate the Alameda County Behavioral Health system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with families and caregivers to identify and access community resources and services
- Provide education and training on mental health and special education needs
- Assist families in developing and implementing individualized plans to support their child's well-being
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
Requirements:
- Personal experience raising a child with mental health or special education needs
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
