We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Small Business Banker to join our team. As a Small Business Banker, you will be responsible for providing financial solutions to small businesses with annual revenues up to $5 million.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the growth of the profitability of the small business customer base
  • Identifying, developing, and driving results
  • Acquiring new client opportunities through prospecting, networking, and developing external referral sources
  • Opening core small business accounts while adhering to procedural guidelines

Requirements for this role include:

  • Proven success in consultative sales in financial services or in business-to-business sales
  • Ability to demonstrate examples of improving specific businesses' financial outcomes by interpreting financial statements and recommending specific levers
  • Passion for outside sales and enjoyment of prospecting
  • Ability to analyze financial conditions of clients and industry trends
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Community leadership
  • Strong computer skills with an ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or economics preferred or seven years of relevant work experience
