Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lego Robotics Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading elementary students in a group setting, facilitating their learning, and promoting student success and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Introduce Lego Robotics challenges to students and facilitate their navigation of building and programming a robot.
  • Supervise and manage students, utilizing positive behavioral management to support their learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and program facilitators to ensure a smooth and effective program.
  • Prepare for and attend the district-wide competition.
Requirements
  • Experience leading elementary students in a group setting.
  • Associate's Degree in education or related field, or prior experience teaching specialty area to elementary aged students.
  • Experience working with children in group settings.
  • Ability to form positive and supportive relationships with children and adults.
  • Ability to be flexible and work as a member of a team.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
Program Schedule

2 or 4 days a week, 2:30 - 5:00 pm

Compensation

$17 - $22 per hour depending on education and experience
