Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and record patient data, including medical history and treatment plans
  • Assist with clinical procedures and follow treatment plans as directed by clinical staff
  • Extract and record data from medical records, and transcribe orders and charts
  • Provide patient comfort and satisfaction with service, and communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain responsibility for own professional development
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited MA program preferred
  • Experience with medical terminology and prior experience working in a medical office
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 75 pounds
